Leave Your Mark — A Hands-On Stamp Carving Workshop

Do you ever find yourself searching for the perfect stamp for your art journal or greeting cards, but can’t find quite the right design? It’s time to stop searching and start creating!

Join us for a fun, creative, and slightly addictive workshop where we turn humble blocks of rubber into professional-grade art tools. Whether you’re a seasoned artist or a total beginner, you’ll learn the satisfying art of relief carving to create your own collection of reusable stamps.

In this class, you will:

• Design: Learn how to translate your sketches or ideas into "stamp-ready" designs (including how to handle letters and numbers so they don't print backward!).

• Carve: Master the use of linoleum cutters to safely remove material and reveal your image.

• Print: Experiment with different ink pads, acrylics, and fabric inks to see how your stamps perform on various surfaces.

• Apply: Spend time using your new stamps to decorate a set of high-quality greeting cards or start a new spread in your art journal.

Note: All materials are provided, and you’ll go home with your custom-carved stamps and the skills to keep carving at your own kitchen table. Let’s get messy and make some marks!
