About the Artist
Ninna has been creatively “muckin’ about” with clay for more than 25 years, creating pottery that is as functional as it is fun. She describes her work as functional stoneware pottery with an eclectic style and a generous splash of whimsy and joy.
Her signature City Cups, along with a collection of whimsical and creative pottery pieces, can be found in artisan shops throughout British Columbia and Alberta. Each piece is designed to be enjoyed and used, with plenty of personality mixed in.
As the owner of Muckabout Gift Gallery in Burnaby, Ninna is continually exploring pottery, mixed media, and other creative arts and crafts. She also loves sharing her passion for making through workshops, teaching clay, bookbinding, mixed media, and other hands-on creative projects.
