FUCK 1/2" x 3/4" rectangle earring 6HB in hammered brass with sterling silver ear wires. These fun earrings are intended to be subtle. 1/16th high letters are used to hand stamp ‘FUCK’ into the salvaged metal. So small, others need to be almost into your personal space to see it; in any case, you know and can enjoy the feeling; after all, it is a powerful word. When others eventually notice it usually inspires a delightfully shocked giggle. These really make terrific gifts, elegant and sassy. It is my intention to be sustainable, and eco-friendly. Conscious of the origins and waste with the materials and methods I use throughout my process. The metal is salvage. I have a route of recyclers in my region that I visit to purchase scrap roofing, electrical copper, and brass. As it is scrap, it is typically in very rough condition when I get it. I cut it to size and then very laboriously clean, polish, and hammer it if needed.
