Coming Soon - From Trash to Treasure: Junk Journal & Ephemera Creation Retreat
Join Ninna and Pam for a full day of creative exploration and learn how to make your very own junk journal!
In the morning, Ninna will guide you through the process of building your journal from scratch. You'll learn how to bind a unique, personalized book using a variety of repurposed materials like old book pages, envelopes, maps, and more. You'll get hands-on experience in assembling the core of your journal, transforming forgotten treasures into a beautiful keepsake.
After a lunch break, Pam will take over and lead you through creating a variety of ephemera to decorate your journal. You'll use different techniques to make beautiful additions like tags, pockets, tuck spots, and embellished paper clips. Once your ephemera is complete, you'll learn how to artfully place and attach them, turning your junk journal into a one-of-a-kind work of art.
At the end of the day, you'll walk away with a completed junk journal filled with your own handmade decorations and the skills to continue your creative journey at home. This class is perfect for both beginners and experienced crafters looking for new inspiration. All materials will be provided.
Come as you are, bring your “junk,” and leave with a journal that’s uniquely yours.
No experience is necessary.
Take your book home with you at the end of class and have endless hours of fun working in the book and making more books.
Whats included: including alot of stuff to make a book in class and even some stuff to start filling up your book.

Cancellation: We require 24 hours or more for cancellation. Cancellation credit for a future workshop within the following 6 months. No Credits issued for no shows or last-minute cancellations.
Breaks: We will be providing light snacks and drinks. We will take about an hour for lunch. Feel free to bring a lunch and eat on site or head out to one of our great eateries in the neighborhood.
