Making Junk Journals
Create Your Own Junk Journal – A Hands-On Creative Class
Discover the joy of junk journaling - a playful, freeing way to create a one-of-a-kind book from everyday materials. In this hands-on class, you'll learn how to make your own junk journal using scraps, recycled papers, ephemera, old book pages, fabric bits, envelopes, and more.
Junk journals are part sketchbook, part scrapbook, part diary - used for memory keeping, art journaling, writing, collaging, or simply making something beautifully imperfect.
Why do we make junk journals?
To slow down, get messy, and express ourselves with no rules. Junk journaling is fun, stress-relieving, and deeply personal. It’s not about perfection - it’s about playing with paper, collecting moments, and making space for creativity.
Come as you are, bring your “junk,” and leave with a journal that’s uniquely yours.
No experience is necessary.
Take your book home with you at the end of class and have endless hours of fun working in the book and making more books.
